Interior Design, Space Planning, Finishes Specification & Visualisations
Concept to detailed drawings for bespoke E Bar & Learning Pod
Single Source Interior Solution, including; Ceilings, Lighting, Glazed Partitions,
Carpets, Decoration, Glazed Entrance Lobby, External Glass Balustrade & all loose furniture.
Project Scope ......
Birmingham Metropolitan College wanted to utilise ground floor space to create a state of the art learning and teaching facility.
The Space had to fulfil the following critera
- Technology Rich Learning Space
- Maximisation of Natural Light
- Bespoke Solution for the teaching of small groups
- Provision of a single source solution with detailed timing programme to enable a “fast track” turnkey fit out
- Contrast Flooring with new carpets to compliment overall design.
Flexible Teaching Space ......
New Flexible Teaching Space Provided to include seamless glazed partitioning to create “Curved effect” walls.
External Glazed Lobby area designed and installed aesthetically matching to existing external building.
New Doorways and Windows formed into the New Space.
Bi Folding Walls also allow space to be opened up and utilised for large classes as required.
Learning Pod ......

Creation of the Learning Lab required a bespoke solution for teaching small groups to be designed and created and in consultation with Birmingham Metropolitan College the concept for the “Learning Pod” was developed.
The Learning Pod enabled space which allows for close collaboration and focused fun learning for small groups utilising the latest technology.
Staff Learning Lounge......

To support Staff teaching and learning, a high quality, visually stunning and cost effective learning lounge was created which included a mix of meeting spaces, soft seating and an “E bar” which supported technology but aesthetically appeared to float.
Staff and visitors have been “wowed” by the New Facility which has created visually stunning learning and training areas for Birmingham Metropolitan College.
